What Is a DPA
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is a legally binding contract between a data controller (you) and a data processor (Qais). It sets out the terms under which we process personal data on your behalf, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations including the GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
When You Need One
You may need a DPA if your organization is subject to data protection regulations (such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar frameworks) and you use Qais to process personal data of your customers, employees, or other individuals. Enterprise and Business plan customers typically require a DPA as part of their vendor onboarding process.
How to Request
To request our standard DPA, email privacy@qais.com with your company name, plan type, and the name and email of your authorized signatory. We will send you our standard DPA for review. Typical turnaround time is 2–3 business days.
